Many thanks to Frances Cottrell and her sister, Gail Campbell, who so generously decided to give funds from their deceased father's bank account to the band to help the band cover expenses. Their father, Dallas Cottrell, was a long-time fixture in the Kingsport Community Band, making beautiful music stream from his trombone even at the age of 90! We miss you, Dal, and we're grateful that your daughters chose this way to honor your memory.
